Nick Adenhart: LA Angels Pitcher Tragically Killled

I just wanted to send my condolences to the family of Nick Adenhart, who was tragically killed last night after the rookie pitcher made his first start of the year for the Los Angelas Angels of Anaheim. Early this morning on his way home, a suspected drunk driver ran a red light, killing Adenhart and the two others in the car with him. Adenhart was from Silver Spring, MD, survived by his father Jim, and his mother Janet. Last night was just his fourth start in the major League Baseball, and he pitched 6 scoreless innings. Our prayers certainly go out to Nick's parents and to his teammates and the entire Angels organization. May you be in a better place Nick.
